WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - A new wellness initiative will help local firefighters get yearly cancer screenings and receive preventative care for other job-related health risks. The program, announced Thursday, is called Protect Wichita Firefighters and is a partnership between the Wichita Fire Department and Ascension Via Christi.
